Motorola is gearing up to launch an updated version of the Moto G Stylus next year. We first got wind of the upcoming device early last month, when renowned leaker Evan Blass shared its complete spec list. As per the leak, the new Moto G Stylus (2021) will feature a 6.81-inch FHD+ display with a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 675 chip, 4GB of RAM, up to 128GB of storage, a 48MP quad-camera setup, and a 4,000mAh battery. While Motorola still hasn’t released any information about the device so far, Amazon has now gone ahead and published a premature retail listing of the device with several official press renders.
A phoneArena reader recently spotted the Amazon listing for the Moto G Stylus (2021), which gives us our first look at its design. As you can see in the attached screenshots, the upcoming device will feature a design similar to the recently launched Moto G9 Plus, with a rectangular camera island and a hole-punch display.
The Moto G Stylus (2021) will pack a recessed power button with an embedded fingerprint scanner and a volume rocker on the right edge. It will sport a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a speaker grille, and a stylus on the bottom edge.
Along with the design, the Amazon listing also confirms some of the leaked specifications. The listing states that the device will feature a 4,000mAh battery, 4GB RAM, and run Android 10 out of the box. It also highlights the two color variants — Aurora Black and Aurora White — and the device’s alleged retail price — $341.89. However, the pricing information on the listing could just be a placeholder figure.
Motorola is expected to unveil the Moto G Stylus (2021) sometime next quarter. Since the original Moto G Stylus was announced early in February this year, Motorola may launch the new device around the same time.
